Paris, 4 a.m. – Glamour, Dance and Scented Illusion

ACT 4 by Pantomime transports You to the heart of Paris in 1976 – specifically to the dazzling Chez Régine at 4 a.m. The air hums with glamour: freshly sprayed perfume swirls through the room like neon lights, Bellini glasses shimmer with traces of lipstick, and a pulse of music breathes life into the night. Drenched in sequins, couture and fantasy, time seems suspended – identities blur, boundaries dissolve.

Olfactory impressionism – white flowers and aged Patchouli

The composition of ACT 4 thrives on a tension between brightness and depth. Creamy peach sets the stage for luminous white flowers, softly illuminated by the lactonic elegance of cis-jasmone – a molecule that evokes a jasmine blossom unfolding at dawn. This fleeting softness is grounded by over 30-year-old aged Patchouli, rich and velvet-like, unfolding in warm, woody and balsamic hues.

The aged Patchouli, matured like a fine wine, loses the sharpness of its youth and reveals a rounded, deeply nuanced character. Paired with the floral heart, the result is an olfactory canvas of rare sophistication – expressive, yet never overwhelming.

Dalman & Oude Sogtoen – a duo devoted to scented drama

ACT 4 is the result of the creative dialogue between Fredrik Dalman and Jeroen Oude Sogtoen, who co-founded Pantomime in 2023. Dalman, the house perfumer, brings storytelling and refined craftsmanship to each creation. Oude Sogtoen, founder of Zenology and Maison Mona Di Orio, merges design, theatre and fragrance into a bold new concept: perfume as performance.

Pantomime stands for perfumes as poetic acts. Each creation – each “Act” – is a moment, an emotion, a memory. The ingredients, both natural and synthetic, are meticulously chosen to evoke atmosphere and tell stories that speak not only to the skin, but to the soul.
