Inspired by a rower’s solitary glide across New Haven Lake in 1967, ACT II distills the silence and strength of an awakening day into scent. You enter the boathouse as the wooden floorboards creak softly underfoot. The pine trees outside reflect faintly in the still lake. The world is suspended. And then, with every measured stroke across the water, something elemental returns: breath, rhythm, presence. ACT II is the olfactory expression of that pure, silent motion.

Bisabolene – molecular depth in motion

At the heart of ACT II lies Bisabolene, a rare natural molecule found in essential oils like ginger, black pepper, and myrrh. Isolated in its pure form, it reveals an earthy, warm, and peppery-woody depth. Paired with cardamom absolute and exotic balsams, it creates a radiant and grounding aura – shifting between skin and wood, light and shadow, warmth and coolness.

Composed by Fredrik Dalman, the in-house perfumer of Pantomime, in close collaboration with Jeroen Oude Sogtoen – founder of Zenology and Mona di Orio – this creation is more than just perfume. It is a ritual in scent: a luxurious niche fragrance that embraces reduction, molecular precision, and the tension between stillness and vitality.

You feel it unfold slowly: soft, clear, present. The balsamic warmth of ACT II settles over your skin like sunlight dispersing morning fog.
