Scottish Odyssey – Tradition and Storytelling

As part of the Scottish Odyssey Collection – an olfactory exploration of Scotland’s folklore and mysteries, connecting past and present in a contemporary fantasy shaped by everyday life, attitude, humour and culture – SPIRITCASKweaves tradition into modern perfume artistry. The composition opens vividly with pear and the refined note of fresh whisky, accompanied by velvety blossoms and sweet fruit nuances. At its heart blooms ylang-ylang, wrapping the scent in floral warmth before melting into a garment of soft leather – a metaphor for an embrace that lasts into eternity. The oakwood accord runs like a red thread through the entire fragrance, giving it depth and a distinctive character.

Jorum Studio – Perfumery from Edinburgh

Created by perfumer Euan McCall and launched in 2022, SPIRITCASK stands as a masterful translation of tradition into modern olfactory art. Jorum Studio is based in Edinburgh’s creative Stockbridge district, where an in-house micro-lab allows for artisanal perfume production on site. Here, perfume is not only made – the space also serves as a creative hub showcasing works by winners of the Jorum Craft Award, supporting contemporary craftsmanship in Scotland. Each bottle is a piece of living Scottish culture, captured in a compelling olfactory narrative.
