SPIRITCASK presents itself with a firework of temperament - a symphony of sweet pear and a bouquet of dried fruits, gently embedded in a deep sea of ​​caramel, coffee and vanilla, all tenderly embraced by the aromatic scent of fine woods.

The SPIRITCASK fragrance weaves a wistful memory, a tribute to the soul of a whiskey distiller, whose symbol lingers in an abandoned oak barrel, carrying the echo of his passion. It embraces the complete cycle of whiskeymaking, beginning with the freshly distilled new make, which cuts the air with its intense aldehyde accents, to the unfolding of a mature, full-bodied whiskey that cultivates its soul in the wooden casks over the years. The ephemeral top note gives way to a symphony of ylang-ylang and sweet fruit accents that gradually dissolve into a warm, soft leather robe, a metaphor for an embrace that leads to eternity.

Jorum Studio's Spiritcask Extrait de Parfum is a unique and captivating perfume that captures the tradition of the Scottish whisky cask in a single fragrance. It was developed by Euan McCall and is part of the "Scottish Odyssey" collection.

Spiritcask opens with a vibrant and zesty scent of pear and fresh whiskey, accompanied by dried fruits and velvety floral notes. The fragrance develops into a rich blend of woods and leather, rounded off by a sweet, caramel-like, and coffee-infused base note. The oak accord runs throughout the fragrance profile, lending the perfume its depth and complexity.

The SPIRITCASK fragrance was inspired by the experience of immersing one's head in an empty whisky cask and sensing the complex, lingering aromas. It captures the essence of the whiskymaking process and highlights the aromas that migrate from the oak casks into the fresh whisky.

Jorum Studio presented SPIRITCASK in the Scottish Odyssey Collection in 2022. Euan McCall explores Scottish folklore and cultural heritage with these fragrances.

The JORUM Studio is located in the creative Stockbridge area of ​​Edinburgh, where it also has a micro-lab for creating and developing fragrances on-site. This allows customers to gain insight into the creative process. The store also serves as a creative hub, showcasing works by winners of the Jorum Craft Award, a prize supporting contemporary artisans in Scotland.
