Scottish Odyssey – Folklore, Landscape and Duality
Released in 2022 as part of the Scottish Odyssey Collection, GORSELAND explores the folklore and mystery of Scotland’s past and present, distilling the essence of gorse blossoms found throughout the country’s wild landscapes. The fragrance opens with fresh, bright notes of pineapple herb and citrus, complemented by floral and green nuances. It evolves into a rich, sweet yet earthy heart with gooseberry and elderflower, before settling into a base of sweet woodruff and gorsewood, enriched with the unique warmth of a kush accord. The inspiration stems from the Salisbury Crags in Edinburgh, where neon-golden flowers emerge from sun-bleached rock, embodying the interplay between beauty and decay.
