He once described Marseille as “a dead end, a city by the sea, facing the land” – a place defined by constant transformation, demolitions, and rebirths. This raw, restless spirit finds its voice in James Heeley’s composition: a blend of herbs, woods, and amber that celebrates Marseille as a city of sun, survival, and longing.
