Linden sollst du finden

Auf meiner Haut rieche ich leider keine Linde, sondern ich bekomme den Eindruck von einer Mimose, die jedoch gar nicht in der Duftpyramide aufgeführt ist.
Insgesamt kommt der Duft sehr würzig daher, Kardamom ist sehr präsent, die mir als frisch und frühlingshaft bekannte Linde bleibt leider darunter verborgen.
Ich kann mir den Duft eher an einem Mann vorstellen, mir ist er insgesamt zu streng.

vielen Dank, dass Du Dir die Zeit genommen hast, auch diesen Duft so ausführlich zu beschreiben. Der Titel „Linden sollst du finden“ bringt das Dilemma eigentlich schon perfekt auf den Punkt. Wenn man sich auf die Suche nach einer bestimmten Duftnote macht und diese auf der eigenen Haut nicht oder nur ganz versteckt wahrnimmt, entsteht natürlich schnell eine andere Erwartung als das tatsächliche Dufterlebnis.

Besonders interessant finden wir Deine Wahrnehmung der Mimose und des Kardamoms. Gerade Kardamom kann eine Komposition deutlich würziger und trockener erscheinen lassen und dadurch zartere Facetten in den Hintergrund rücken. Dass die für Dich typische frühlingshafte Lindenblüte darunter verschwindet, können wir deshalb gut nachvollziehen.

Auch Deine Einschätzung, den Duft eher an einem Mann zu sehen, zeigt wieder einmal, wie individuell Duftwahrnehmung ist. Während manche Träger gerade die würzige Struktur schätzen, wünschen sich andere mehr von der luftigen, blühenden Seite, die der Name erwarten lässt.

True Linden blossom

It is very hard to find a true linden blossom scent in a perfume form. Some are too powdery (Penhaligon's Highgrove Bouquet), some too sweet (Le Galion's Tilleul), others take it into more abstract direction (Thomas de Monaco's Sol Salgado), and more often than not, Linden blossom is rather an accompanying note than the main character. Laboratorio somehow managed to ignore all this and go straight to the point, creating Tiglio Mirabilis. To me, this is an instant time travel machine - to my childhood walking routes, especially the one, right by the lake, along the shore, where the smell of Mirabilis trees in bloom would be so fragrant, that I'd have to stop and find it to see it from up close. It's that smell. It is sweet, almost honeyed, round and - to me - resinous, yellow. Looking at the notes, I can see how cardamon adds to it, as well as just a touch of jasmine, making this a delightful, spring-time experience.
