Julien Rasquinet is an outstanding perfumer whose path into the world of fragrances was marked by a chance encounter at the airport between his father and Pierre Bourdon, a master perfumer. With no formal knowledge of perfumery but a deep passion for fragrances, Rasquinet contacted Bourdon, who decided to take him on as his final pupil. This event marked the beginning of Rasquinet's career as a perfumer, where he learned the art of fragrance creation from one of the greats in the industry.
Julien quickly understood that he loved the perfume industry and began to cultivate the qualities that would characterize him for the rest of his career: a great passion for raw materials, a luxurious style, consistency and fascinating olfactory storytelling!
Julien Rasquinet began his passion for perfume at the age of 14, when he started his first collection. After studying economics, he completed an internship at one of the world's largest perfume companies in New York. It was there that he discovered his enthusiasm for playing with raw materials and realized his dream of becoming a perfumer.
Rasquinet is known for his desire to evoke emotions when creating fragrances by telling stories that are more romantic visions than direct transcriptions of nature. He finds the validation of a winning project and the opportunity to create something new and innovative particularly rewarding about his craft.
