Husen Baba, the creative force behind Azman, brings a rich personal history to his brand. Born in Mumbai to a family of Afghan, Portuguese and Indian roots, his early life was humble. But a move to Dubai marked a turning point. With a deep passion for art, culture, luxury, and design, he became an award-winning creative in the advertising world, working across cities like Paris, New York, London, Tokyo, Milan and Zürich – absorbing the aesthetics of haute couture and the elegance of timeless objects.

In this journey, fragrance became more than fascination – it became a calling. Encounters with industry icons such as Roja Dove, Meo Fusciuni, Victor Wong and Frédéric Malle eventually led him to Grasse, where he immersed himself in the artistry and science of perfume-making. The result: Azman – a house built on feeling, rooted in excellence, and unafraid to challenge convention.

Each Azman fragrance is born from collaboration with world-renowned perfumers. Thai master perfumer Prin Lomros created the opulent Majnoon – a hypnotic blend of pomegranate, rose, coffee and dual facets of oud. Other creations are shaped by talents like Julien Rasquinet and Chris Maurice, bringing complexity and identity to every scent.
