The Tuberose Reimagined
For a long time, tuberose was considered the diva of perfumery — heavy, old-fashioned, and overpowering. But now, it's making a comeback: reinterpreted in a modern way, yet no less seductive. Cristian Cavagna’s collection breathes new life into this classic. Far removed from its “Madame” reputation, tuberose reveals itself here as multifaceted, versatile, and strikingly contemporary.
Cristian Cavagna – The Name and the Vision
Fragrance critic, educator, creative mind, content creator — and more recently, founder of his own perfume house. Like tuberose itself, Cristian Cavagna has many facets. What sets him apart? A profound understanding of perfume’s emotional power, honed over years of experience and guided by an instinctive feel for composition and impact.
Art has always been a constant companion in Cavagna’s work — and remains central to his fragrance creations. His inspiration: iconic artists such as Warhol and Ferrè, who mastered the art of reinterpreting the same motif over and over again. In Cavagna’s case, that motif is tuberose. In collaboration with master perfumer Arturetto Landi, he created six extrait de parfums, all bound by this central theme. Each fragrance opens with a shared head note of banana leaf, ginger, pink pepper, and tuberose absolute. From there, each unfolds its own distinct heart and base, expressing a unique character.

Every composition tells a story — revealing a different facet of the tuberose: sometimes radiant, sometimes dark, sometimes oceanic, sometimes regal. To emphasize the unique identity of each fragrance, Cavagna also relies on visual storytelling — with poetic faces brought to life through striking, extravagant illustrations.
A Narcotic Floral, Staged Six Ways
Together with Arturetto Landi, Cavagna has envisioned and crafted a collection that celebrates the richness and complexity of perfumery and its raw materials. As one of Italy’s most respected fragrance voices, Cavagna merges decades of expertise with artistic intuition — and masterfully stages the beauty of tuberose in all its expressive depth.
The fragrance line “La Tuberosa secondo me”:
