Xerjoff recently unveiled a distinctive fragrance in collaboration with Tony Iommi, the legendary guitarist of Black Sabbath. This special perfume, named TONY IOMMI BLEND, pays homage to the musician's iconic guitar riffs that have significantly influenced the heavy metal genre. The fragrance is presented in a gift box and is part of the Xerjoff Blends project, aiming to merge sensory and cultural perceptions. Despite the initial surprise of the collaboration between luxury fragrances and heavy metal, Tony Iommi's passion for scents, cultivated during Black Sabbath's global tours, made it a natural fit. The concept for the perfume arose when Iommi met Xerjoff founder Sergio Momo through a mutual friend. Intrigued by the idea, Tony embarked on the collaboration. "Scent of Dark" serves as both a perfume and the title of Tony Iommi's latest single, marking his return to music after Black Sabbath's 2013 album. This instrumental piece, bearing Iommi's unmistakable signature, was recorded in collaboration with Sergio Momo and other musicians. The music video, shot at Sudeley Castle in England, integrates scenes featuring the world of Xerjoff fragrances.

Xerjoff Blends, in its pursuit of intertwining sensory and cultural experiences, encourages artistic experimentation to unveil the unique aspects within each individual. The fragrance TONY IOMMI BLEND No. 1 - Monkey Special is a result of meticulous efforts to encapsulate the dark and intricate sounds of Tony Iommi's guitar in olfactory form. The top notes feature bergamot, rum, Bulgarian geranium and passion fruit, while cinnamon, patchouli and leather dominate the middle notes. Sandalwood, vanilla, caramel, labdanum, and musk form the base notes, resulting in a leathery and woody family scent. Xerjoff Blends seeks to create a space where creativity flourishes, emphasizing that true freedom is found not in standardization but in the discovery of uniqueness within each individual. This is not a provocative statement but a cultural manifesto, encapsulating the experimental and artistic journey of Xerjoff Blends. The project strives to disrupt social patterns through sensory stimuli, aspiring to establish a new form of equality by exploring the interplay of smell with other artistic expressions, inspiring and challenging cultural and sensory perceptions.

We went through different perfume variations with Sergio. We worked very intensively to achieve the complexity that I was looking for. The end result harmoniously characterizes the dark sound of my original '64 Monkey Special' guitar with spicy, seductive and rebellious notes, combined with leathery accents."
