The true depth of Vanilla: Vanagloria in the renewed Extreme Collection

Vanagloria is one of those creations that never needed volume to feel powerful. Since its very first release, the fragrance has always been an Eau de Parfum—and it remains exactly that today. Laboratorio Olfattivo recently re-structured its catalogue and integrated several signature compositions into the Extreme Collection. The packaging changed, the name gained the visual addition INTENSE, but the formula, concentration and olfactory profile are 100% unchanged.
On the label at the base of the bottle it is stated clearly: Eau de Parfum (EdP).
No reformulation. No altered dosage. No intensified concentration. The content remains identical to the earlier transparent-bottle version.

The unchanged essence – Vanilla as a majestic centrepiece

At its heart, Vanagloria is still one of the most honest modern interpretations of vanilla. No decorative sweetness, no soft-focus effects, no gourmand gloss. Instead, the fragrance reveals vanilla in its raw, warm, resinous, slightly leathery expression—an approach that defined the original Masters’ Collection and continues unchanged in the Extreme Collection.

A Bourbon vanilla pod of exceptional quality, cultivated in the Indian Ocean and extracted through CO₂ technology, remains the star. This method preserves its entire aromatic spectrum:
the floral brightness, the spicy shadows, the earthy depth and the subtly animalic warmth. These nuances shaped Vanagloria from day one—and they remain fully intact now.

The architecture – a warm, glowing vanilla signature

Vanagloria opens with a golden warmth that settles immediately on the skin. Safran adds a dry, leathery tension. A faint, luminous pineapple nuance introduces lift without becoming fruity.

The heart revolves around incense resin, incense essential oil and tonka bean absolute, creating a spicy, glowing warmth that feels both meditative and sensual.
This heart remains one of the strongest elements of the fragrance—rounded, textured, quietly radiant.

The base still rests on CO₂-extracted vanilla and soft musk, forming a long-lasting, warm, balsamic signature with excellent endurance. Nothing has changed. Nothing was softened. Nothing was intensified artificially.

The Extreme Collection – new structure, same formula

Laboratorio Olfattivo introduced the Extreme Collection to better define and organise its most expressive creations. Vanagloria now sits within this collection, not because its formula changed, but because it always possessed this deeper, more resonant presence.
