Nathalie Feisthauer – The Perfumer of PRIVILEGE

Nathalie Feisthauer’s career is a story of passion and artistic innovation. Her fascination with perfumery began at the age of 16 when she first encountered the iconic Opium by Yves Saint Laurent – an experience that forever shaped her path. In 1983, she entered the prestigious Roure School in Grasse (today known as Givaudan), breaking tradition as the first intern without a family background in perfumery. Over the years, Feisthauer has become one of the most respected names in the fragrance world, celebrated for her ability to translate emotions, landscapes, and memories into timeless scent compositions. With PRIVILEGE, she captures the purity of elements like water, greenery, forests, and the sea – all seen as privileges of life itself.
