Aura Sublime was created by Cécile Zarokian, an esteemed independent perfumer based in Paris. With over a hundred fragrances to her name, Zarokian is renowned for her expertise in crafting fine fragrances, home and personal care products. In addition to her perfumery skills, she serves as a fragrance branding consultant, collaborating with international companies to develop their olfactory identity and create immersive sensory experiences for events and activations.

Zarokian's journey in perfumery began with a four-year apprenticeship at Robertet, a prestigious French perfume house, where she created her first fragrance, Epic Woman. Graduating from ISIPCA, the renowned perfumery school founded by JJ Guerlain, she has since established herself as a leading figure in the industry. For Aura Sublime, Zarokian utilized a special fragrance ingredient: Hedione. Derived from the jasmine flower, Hedione is prized for its fresh, delicate scent, often described as airy, green and slightly floral, with citrus-like nuances.

Widely used in perfumery since the 1960s, Hedione enhances scent complexity and freshness without overwhelming sweetness, making it a versatile and valuable component in modern fragrance compositions. Beyond its olfactory qualities, Hedione is believed to have subtle pheromone-like effects, stimulating certain regions of the human brain and evoking emotional responses. This multifaceted nature makes it a prized ingredient, valued for its ability to enhance fragrance charisma and evoke allure.
