A moment of pause – and a look ahead
About trust, shared paths, and the quiet joy of what is to come.
As the year draws to a close, I want to consciously take time to say thank you. Not loudly, not pathetically, but clearly and sincerely. Because the path that scent amor has taken since 2024 would not have been the same without you and many other people.
Since we began rethinking and refining our focus, a lot has happened. We've discovered new, exquisite niche fragrance brands and added them to our portfolio – brands that impress with their quality, philosophy, and meticulous craftsmanship. At the same time, we've also parted ways with some houses that we initially found exciting, but whose development no longer aligns with what scent amor stands for today. That, too, is part of honest curation.
Where scent amor has evolved
With our selection, we deliberately aim to appeal to people who value well-crafted, refined niche fragrances. Fragrances that don't rely on ostentatious displays, but on substance. Loud marketing hype is not our style. Nor are collections that generate short-term attention, but whose olfactory language doesn't align with our vision of tranquility, precision, and depth. Scent Amor stands for reduction, clarity, and character.
I myself, Georg R. Wuchsa , have been working in this industry for 25 years. During this time, I've seen many brands come and go. Experience puts trends into perspective and sharpens one's eye for what has the potential to last. Of course, every curation is also influenced by personal taste. However, other criteria are crucial for me: quality, continuity, and—depending on the brand's origin—either a long-standing tradition or, in the case of young brands, a credible creative vision.

At this point, I would like to pause and express my gratitude. Scent Amor was not created in isolation. Its development was, at times, intense and involved a great deal of work. My thanks go to all those who accompanied me on this journey: friends who offered mental support, listened, and provided backing – especially when decisions were difficult or processes took time.
I also want to thank all our companions and partners who have provided us with technical support. These are the people and companies who translated ideas into functioning structures and worked behind the scenes to make so much possible. This work is often invisible, but indispensable.
A special thank you goes to our suppliers. The people behind the brands who have placed their trust in us. Who have entrusted their fragrances – often with great personal connection – to us and trusted that we would handle them respectfully, carefully, and responsibly. Every exchange, every conversation, every collaboration has been part of this journey.
And above all, thank you – our customers. For your trust, your openness, and the many positive responses. For your enthusiasm for our product range, for our advice, and for the way the fragrances have found their way to you. This feedback has been and continues to be a great affirmation – not only for our work, but for the attitude behind it.
A look ahead
In closing, I'd like to consciously shift my focus to the future. The winter solstice is behind us. The days are slowly getting longer again, the light is returning. This moment between retreat and new beginnings has something calming about it for me – and at the same time, something liberating.
