With VITRUM, Giovanni Sammarco has explored the theme of vetiver and created a fragrance centred around this special raw material. It is also Sammarco's first fragrance. It is a particularly powerful fragrance, in a perfect balance between earthy, spicy and smoky. An interplay of vetiver with incense and rose.

VITRUM begins with a tangy bergamot note and black pepper, which brings bright vibrancy to the composition. However, this slightly bitter and spicy opening quickly gives way to more intense and earthy notes. Incense and rose unfold in the heart.

However, in this case it is not a sweet, romantic rose, it is rather dry and slightly spicy, a perfect combination to the earthy and smoky elements. Frankincense gives the whole thing a mystical touch. It is unmistakably smoky and balsamic and creates a contrasting tension with the earthy vetiver. 

Vetiver dominates the base note as the central element. It is both cool and warm with its smoky, earthy notes. In VITRUM, it can unfold all its facets: fresh, woody, smoky and green. Vetiver gives the fragrance structure and ensures a dry and woody finish with a long-lasting effect on the skin.
