The Sepia collection presents Olfactive Studio - CHYPRE SHOT - Extrait de Parfum, a dark and primal fragrance with a powerful and unadulterated character. This chypre accord is characterised by a reworked oakmoss note that blends with notes of patchouli, rose, black pepper and coffee.
Olfactive Studio - CHYPRE SHOT - Extrait de Parfum opens with a rich and mysterious chypre accord. A circle of small volcanic stones on a moor on Mount Taranaki, a reference to the Eichenmoos at the heart of the composition, contrasts with the green landscape and mist in the sky.
An artist through and through, Bertrand Duchaufour has always created his fragrances using various art forms such as drawing, painting and photography. He began his career in perfumery at Lautier Florasynth in Grasse and later continued his work in Paris. In 2008, he became a freelance perfumer and has since worked in the field of artistic perfumery, creating innovative creations. Since 2014, Duchaufour has been working with fragrance manufacturer Technicoflor, which he chose for its ethical and environmental commitment.
