Rue de la Paix by Isabey Paris is a luxurious eau de parfum created to celebrate the house’s 100th anniversary. The fragrance’s name evokes the Rue de la Paix in Paris, where Isabey opened its first boutique in 1924. The fragrance opens with zesty notes of juicy peach and Calabrian bergamot. At its heart unfolds an opulent bouquet of white flowers: jasmine absolute, tuberose, narcissus, ylang-ylang essence and absolute, and lily. The base notes consist of benzoin resin, musk, sandalwood, vanilla, papyrus essence, and Peruvian balsam absolute, which lend the fragrance depth and warmth.

Perfumer Patrice Revillard describes Rue de la Paix as a composition that combines the most beautiful floral essences with a modern peach note reminiscent of the effervescence of a glass of champagne. The fragrance pays homage to the floral notes of the 1920s and leaves a sophisticated impression reminiscent of an armful of petals.

The perfume’s presentation is just as elegant as the fragrance itself: the transparent bottle with silver accents is adorned with a purple bow, which is Isabey’s trademark. The timeless design of the packaging reflects the brand’s DNA and artisanal craftsmanship, preserved by Creative Director Rania Naim. Patrice Revillard is a French perfumer whose passion for fragrances is deeply rooted in his love of botany. Born in 1992 in Annecy, a picturesque town in the French Alps, he grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of mountains, lakes, and green meadows. This environment sparked his interest in plants and nature at an early age. Revillard originally began studying biology with a focus on botany, but soon realized that his true passion lay in the world of fragrances. To turn this passion into a career, he graduated from the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris.

In 2017, together with two friends, he founded the independent perfume laboratory Maelstrom to freely realize his creative visions and collaborate closely with his clients. This decision enabled him to create bespoke olfactory signatures for perfumes, candles, and home fragrances. Revillard’s creations are distinguished by their originality and depth. A notable example is “L’Iris de Fath,” a reinterpretation of Jacques Fath’s legendary “Iris Gris” from 1946. This reissue was released as both an Extrait de Parfum and an Eau de Parfum and received widespread praise for its elegance and timelessness.

Other outstanding works by Revillard include “Oh Là Là” and “Je Ne Sais Quoi” for Téo Cabanel, both of which have been recognized for their innovative fragrance compositions. His ability to blend traditional notes with modern accents makes his perfumes both unique and versatile.
