David Seth Moltz

David Seth Moltz is the co-founder and perfumer of D.S. & Durga, an independent fragrance brand based in Brooklyn, New York. Founded with his wife Kavi Moltz in 2007, D.S. & Durga is known for its creative and unconventional fragrances, often inspired by music, literature and place.

David Seth Moltz has no formal training as a perfumer, but is self-taught in the art of perfumery, which has allowed him to explore perfumery without the constraints of traditional rules and norms. 

Moltz's creative process often begins with a story, a place or a memory that he wants to bring to life through fragrance. His unique fragrance creations quickly gained notoriety and the brand established itself in the niche perfumery scene. In addition to perfumes, D.S. & Durga also offers scented candles and other scented products for the home.
